Brew & Brats at Arbor Hill
Arbor hill is known for its wine but if you visit you are in for a treat as wine is not all they do. Visiting this place is like discovering the party out in the middle of nowhere that everyone heard about that you happen to stubble upon and have the time of your life. It is set up like German Beer Gartden with open indoor and tented outdoor seating. They make their own wine, beers, and outstanding German cuisine. Get some wine or beer and try their hotdog sample platter with all their different homemade mustard and sauces. This place is very child friendly and offers menu items for kids that are not typical which also makes it a unique experience for the kids.
Young Lion
This brewery is right at the tippy top of Canandaigua lake. They have a nice variety of beers available that they brew in house and they also feature local guest breweries from the area on draft. Young Lion is well known in the region as it distributes its beers to stores in the surrounding area. So you can most likely find their beer at Wegmans grocery store if you are unable to make it to the brewery. If you visit this brewery get a giant pretzel to enjoy with your beer as you look over the lake. If the roof top is open that is also good place to drink and enjoy the view.
